Affiliated supplier
None. Voltcheckr LLC is not affiliated with any energy supplier and is not itself a supplier, a utility, or an aggregator. Suppliers cannot buy better placement in our comparisons.
Services provided
We compare supplier plans against your actual usage and refer you to the supplier you choose. Commercial: we present competing supplier offers and, for qualifying accounts, run a reverse auction. Residential: we rank plans by their real all-in cost at your usage.
Your agreement is with the supplier
Using Voltcheckr does not require a brokerage agreement and has no fixed term. Any energy contract you enter is between you and the supplier you select — not with Voltcheckr LLC — and is governed by that supplier's terms, which are presented to you before you enroll.
How we are compensated
Voltcheckr LLC is paid a referral commission by the supplier you select. For business accounts, the commission is paid through our commercial brokerage platform, Power Kiosk. For residential enrollments, it is a referral fee paid through our residential enrollment partner, PowerHQ (the company behind EnergyBot). Either way, you pay nothing to Voltcheckr; the commission is paid by the supplier and is not added on top of your rate.
How to terminate / cost to terminate
You may stop using Voltcheckr at any time at no cost. There is no termination fee payable to Voltcheckr LLC. Cancellation terms for an energy contract are set by your chosen supplier and stated in that supplier's terms and disclosure documents.

How we make money

Voltcheckr LLC is an independent energy broker. When you enroll with a supplier through Voltcheckr, the supplier pays us a referral commission. You pay nothing to Voltcheckr, and your rate is the same whether you enroll through Voltcheckr or directly with the supplier. We earn commissions from suppliers — we do not hide this, and it is disclosed here and in the broker disclosures above.

Our ranking is honest

Commissions never influence the order of the plans we show you. We rank every plan by what it actually costs at your real usage, calculated from the supplier's published rates plus delivery charges and fees.

If a cheaper plan exists for your usage, we show it first. If a plan has a bill-credit gimmick that makes it worse for your usage, we flag it. Honest rankings are the entire reason this product exists.

What we don't do

  • We do not accept payment to rank a plan higher.
  • We do not accept "featured" placements.
  • We do not enroll or switch you without your explicit authorization.
  • We do not sell your personal data.

Hardware recommendations

After the plan list we may show efficiency-upgrade suggestions (smart thermostat, LED bulbs, etc.) calculated from your real usage. Where hardware affiliate links are used, the product we recommend is never influenced by which merchant pays more — we only recommend products with a conservative payback period at your real usage.
